REQUEST A PASS and participate in our itinerary for scientists on 1/3/2022

The Collider dedicates Tuesday, March 1, to universities, TTOs, research centers and entrepreneurial scientists, and institutions that promote scientific entrepreneurship.

After different editions of "Train the Trainers - LLP" and "On Campus", The Collider's training programs, we are consolidating the Entrepreneurial Scientific Community promoted with the support of Secretaria d'Empresa i Competitivitat de Generalitat de Catalunya. We invite all our "alumni" to consider the MWC as a place and time to meet again.

9:30 a.m. – The challenge of scientific entrepreneurship: experiences and debate

Participate, and share your experience on the challenges of entrepreneurial scientists, how to face them, and what are the keys to the success of deeptech spinoffs.

On stage at the MWCapital booth at 4YFN (Hall 6). With:

  • Manuel Palacín (The Collider): Our OTRIS and scientific training programs. Presentation of testimonies, and moderation of the debate.

  • Stefano Lacaita (Mentor of scientific projects and spinoffs): Keys to success in accompanying scientists with technologies and business ideas

  • Blanca Tejedor (Construction Research Group, UPC): My experience as an entrepreneurial scientist at The Collider OnCampus.

  • Julia Palma (UAB): Opportunities and challenges in creating EBTs

10:30 a.m. – BlueNet OnCampus Demoday

Take this opportunity to hear presentations from the teams that have worked for weeks to enhance their technologies and business ideas. Live a Demo Day on the front line!

On stage at the MWCapital booth at 4YFN (Hall 6). With the collaboration of BlueNetCat, and the participation of:

  • Pablo Bou (Xarxa d'R+D+I BlueNetCat): The BlueNet OnCampus Program.

  • Manuel Palacín (The Collider): Objectives, participants, members of the jury, and guidelines of the Demo Day session.

  • Researchers representing projects (BlueNet Centers) present their respective projects, related to the blue economy.

  • Members of the jury and mentors offer their constructive feedback to the beneficiary researchers of the scientific entrepreneurship program.

-------

Both activities scheduled for scientists in this 4YFN-MWC are designed to:

  • Provide your testimony about your experience in The Collider programs

  • Learn about the experience of beneficiaries of "Train the Trainers - LLP" and "On Campus

  • Be inspired by experiences of science-based entrepreneurs

  • Learn about the policies and aid offered by various agents in the ecosystem

  • Find out how to continue benefiting from the Comunitat Científica Emprenedora

At The Collider we want to continue deepening our articulation with the scientific system, helping to promote technology transfer and the creation of technology-based spinoffs.
