The Demo Day on December 15, 2021 evaluated scientific technological projects from Industry and Health.

The Investment Committee meeting is the culmination of The Collider’s venture builder program. The teams of scientific entrepreneurs who pass the opportunity validation, team building and business validation phases of the twelve-month program face the final jury, divided into two panels.

The panel on Industry 4.0 projects included Simon Lee, Marc Sabas, Carles Florensa, Adrian Landman, Eduardo Alarcón, Eduardo Pérez, Emilio Avilés, Carlos González, Jorge Barón, Xavier Simó and Álvaro Castillo.

The members of the jury for the eHealth projects were Elena Canetti, Marta Príncep, Anabel León, Miguel Ángel Tovar, Isabel Portero, Lluís Badrinas, Jordi Serrano, Gemma Guinart and Teresa Tarragó.

The 24 investors and representatives of corporations and scientific institutions evaluated the value proposition, the market, the intellectual property agreements, the MPV development plan, and the business-financial plan of the projects defended in the second online demo day convened in 2021.

At the opening of the online session, Oscar Sala, director of The Collider, explained that “the scientific-technological ecosystem is in a good moment, in a phase of maturation“, and that he was “very satisfied with the level of quality of this edition”.

But it will be the members of the Investment Committee who will decide whether or not these projects move on to the final phase of incorporation and investment, forming part of the Mobile  World Capital startup portfolio.

The selected projects will be exhibited at the next edition of 4YFN in February.
