Finalists Call for Technologies 2021

We have selected the 15 best projects solving industry challenges and invite them to take part in the programme. The award ceremony was conducted by Mr. Joaquim Ferrer i Tamayo, Minister of Business and Knowledge.

To define the sectorial challenges of the current edition, we organized workshops with over 100 corporations from each of the verticals below. During these working sessions, the companies helped us to identify the main problems that their industries face in the upcoming future.

This year we have received 39 qualifies projects from Health, Industry, Agri-Food, Energy, Utilities and Mobility Sectors. While the programme continues generating value from the Catalans institutions (54% of applications), this year we have received 38% of Projects from the Spanish research ecosystem and 8% from abroad.

The Collider awards € 2,000 to each of the 15 projects, thanks to the collaboration with the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya, with the aim of promoting the validation of science with the market.
