The Collider Venture Builder Programme
We focus on the identification and business development of highly disruptive technologies that have potential to resolve sectorial challenges defined by our corporate partners.
Together over a period of several months these multi-disciplinary teams will go through our venture building programme in order to validate their business idea and to find a perfect market fit for their technology.
Timeline
Milestones
Challenges Definition
We Identify the market’s technological needs with innovation managers of medium and large corporations to establish sectorial challenges of each edition.
Call for Technologies
We select the 15 most promising technology projects to solve industry challenges for each edition while securing a close collaboration between the program and research institutions.
Opportunity Validation
The main purpose of this stage is for scientists to narrow down the market application of their technology and to learn the basics of entrepreneurship to prepare them for the next stage.
Talent Matchmaking
We create the best teams by combining the scientists leading these projects and experienced entrepreneurs. Each technological project is assigned two entrepreneurs with different roles: a senior CEO and a COO.
Business Validation
During this phase the teams will validate with the industry their value proposal, check the attractiveness of their business plan and align with their corresponding research institution over the TechTransfer Agreement. The projects that successfully overcome the Investment Committee will be incorporated into a spinoff.
Scaling
When your startup becomes a part of our portfolio we make sure that you get in touch with the right players inside the innovation ecosystem and especially our investors network to facilitate the growth of your company.
